Privacy & Security
Safety first.
Your privacy and security are our top priorities.
You’re safe with us.
You trust your financial institution – with your hopes and dreams, as well as with your money and your personal information. At Alltrust Credit Union, your trust means the world to us. That’s why we work hard to ensure your privacy and security with the latest technology and services.
Encryption
Your privacy is important.
Our sophisticated encryption technology scrambles messages exchanged between your browser and our Online Banking server to preserve your privacy.
Secure Architecture
A system built to keep you safe.
The computers storing your account information are not linked directly to the internet. Transactions are routed through firewall servers, ensuring that only authorized requests are processed.
Password Protection
Strong security requires a strong password.
Password Protection
Strong security requires a strong password.
Your accounts are protected with a password. When you want to access your account, we compare the password you’ve entered with the password we have on file. In order to prevent someone from trying to guess your password, we only allow you to enter it incorrectly a limited number of times before locking your account.
Password security is a joint effort between Alltrust Credit Union and you.
- Avoid using easy-to-guess or sensitive passwords such as first names, birthdates, pet names, phone numbers, addresses, and Social Security numbers
- Never reveal your password to anyone else
- Change your password periodically
Online Banking
Bank from anywhere – safely.
Online Banking
Bank from anywhere – safely.
In addition to our other security features, Online Banking has a few special features of its own:
- Enhanced Login Security: This feature identifies you as the true owner of your accounts, enrolls and recognizes your personal computers or phones, and requires anyone using an unrecognized device to provide more information before account access is granted.
- Timeout: This prevents unauthorized users from continuing your Online Banking session if you forget to log out.
- Online Statements: Choosing to receive statements securely within Online Banking rather than by mail can prevent thieves from stealing information from your mailbox.
Debit Card Alerts
You’re in control.
Download the Alltrust app to get on-the-go debit card alerts and review transactions.
Travel Alerts
Call before you go.
We want to hear all about your upcoming international trip – especially if you plan to use your Alltrust Credit Union Debit Mastercard® or Credit Card. That way, we’ll know not to flag transactions you make in foreign countries as suspicious, and your card won’t be shut down unnecessarily in the middle of your trip.
Blocked Foreign Transactions
Avoid foreign fraudsters.
We have found that fraudulent transactions are more likely to originate from other parts of the world. For that reason, we keep an eye on these trends and block all foreign transactions. Call us at 508.994.9971 to request that your card be unblocked while traveling outside the U.S.
Cybersecurity
Protect yourself online.
We are continuously relying more on computers, mobile devices, and the internet. We are using our internet-capable devices for shopping, banking, paying bills, and so much more. While there is incredible convenience to using our mobile devices, tablets, and laptops, we should also be aware of some of the risks involved and how to mitigate some of that risk. The NCUA and the FDIC provide some great guidance on how to protect yourself.
